In the energy market, the Renewable Energy Directive of 2009 (RED – 2009/28/CE) requires at least 20% of the energy produced and consumed within the European Union to be originated from renewable sources.
Renewable raw materials, used in the production of biofuels and bioliquids, play in this sense a major role to achieve these mandatory objectives of reduction of greenhouse gas emission in the member States.
Bertuccelli Mediazioni cooperates with major biofuels producers, petrol companies, oleochemical companies, energy traders and sustainable feedstock suppliers in Europe and all over the World.
OUR EXPERIENCE AT YOUR SERVICE
Thanks to our experience on technical issues and market dynamics as well as specific knowledge on sustainability and traceability rules of the different voluntary schemes (ISCC-EU, 2BSvs, RED Cert, Italian National Scheme) we support our customers in their commercial strategy and even in sustainability management process.

b. Cat. 1 and Cat. 2 – FFA from 10% to 40%. Animal by-products, double counting in several States, can be used only in energy sector as feedstock.
Oleins and acid oils
By-producs that can come from chemical refining of the oils (soapstock acid oils), from physical refining of the oils (distilled fatty acids, PFAD) or from biodiesel production.

By-product from biodiesel production and oleochemical industry. Crude glycerin has a glycerol content of 85% and is mainly used in oleochemical and for animal nutrition. Distilled glycerin has a glycerol content between 99% and 99,7% and has several applications in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food industry as well as technical uses
Residue of biodiesel distillation and glycerin and fatty acids distillation process of the oleochemical plants.
